Bear Mountain Orchards

Bear Mountain Orchards is a family owned and operated business celebrating over 75 years as a grower, packer, and shipper of peaches, apples, pears, nectarines, plums, and tart cherries. Located in Aspers Pennsylvania, BMO has a rich history with a diverse variety of seasonal fruits and large-scale production. Bear Mountain works with a range of wholesale customers from local roadside farm markets, local grocery stores and school lunch programs to large supermarket chains. PROJECTS Logo Bear Mountain's story was the inspiration behind their identity and rebrand. The new logo reflects a strong company with historical roots that reaches for the future. The logo needed to be fresh, friendly and attractive. Because Bear Mountain is a family owned company I wanted to reflect the local produce aspect that is so strong with them. Three versions of the logo were produced for different uses on their other marketing materials. Branding guidelines Well structured branding guidelines and supporting graphic elements take an identity to the next level. Bear Mountain was given a formula of typefaces, colors and secondary graphics that create a cohesive visual brand that has visually united Bear Mountain Orchards. Website I built a simple brochure style website on the Squarespace CMS, made it mobile friendly and used custom web-fonts according to our branding guidelines. Boxes Bear Mountain Orchards has an incredible portfolio of apple varieties. The trick with the boxes was that I could only use a certain amount of colors. The illustrated mountains on the boxes when stacked, connect up for an even more cohesive and upscaled appearance.
